Biography
Michelle Tomovski, PA-C is a certified physician assistant working alongside Dr. David Markel.
Prior to joining The CORE Institute, Michelle served as a physician assistant in both, Level I and Level II Trauma Centers, where she created patient care plans, managed emergency room admission lists, and arranged outpatient follow up. She also has experience in administering diagnostic testing, interpreting results for patient diagnosis, performing procedures that included wound care repair, digital blocks, incisions and drainage, and lumbar punctures. Michelle received her graduate degree from Wayne State University and her undergraduate degree from Central Michigan University.
Michelle’s professional experience includes being a key contributor to the ER Redesign Team at Henry Ford Health System by implementing protocols that decreased patient’s length-of-stay and wait times which earned the 2010 People’s Choice Award. Michelle also served on Henry Ford Health System’s Q&A Committee where she was selected to be the Pediatric Representative for St. Mary Mercy Hospital’s Emergency Room.
