Jessica Gelfand, PA-C

Jessica Gelfand, PA-C is a certified physician assistant specializing in Sports Medicine alongside Dr. William Kesto.

Before joining The CORE Institute, Jessica spent time as a certified athletic trainer at Oregon Health & Science University, serving as a member of the sports medicine outreach program in various Portland Public Schools. Following her time at Oregon Health & Science University, Jessica continued as a certified athletic trainer at Beaumonth Health – Taylor, evaluating and treating orthopedic injuries for all athletes at Edsel Ford High School.

Jessica obtained her Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Southern Illinois University – Carbondale, earning the Southern Illinois University Physician Assistant Scholarship during her education program. Jessica earned her Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training from Central Michigan University, graduating Summa Cum Laude.

Jessica remains active in the medical and volunteer community, spending time volunteering with Southern Illinois University’s Head Start program. She is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Illinois Academy of Physician Assistants.
